POLYVANTIS is a global, multi-material player specializing in high-performance acrylic (PMMA) and polycarbonate (PC) films and sheets. The company was formed in 2024 through the merger of Röhm's Acrylic Products business unit and SABIC's Functional Forms business unit, combining over 160 years of brand heritage and technical expertise[reference:7]. The company owns globally renowned brands including PLEXIGLAS®, LEXAN™, ACRYLITE®, and EUROPLEX®, offering a diverse portfolio of films, sheets, tubes, and rods[reference:8]. POLYVANTIS employs approximately 1,500 people worldwide, operates 15 world-class manufacturing sites and 5 global technology centers across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa[reference:9]. Our white PBT insulation film is a flame-retardant, halogen-containing film based on a PBT/PC alloy system, offering excellent chemical resistance, dielectric strength, and good temperature performance[reference:11]. Available in thicknesses of 0.125mm, 0.175mm, 0.25mm, 0.38mm, 0.43mm, 0.5mm, and 0.76mm, the film achieves UL94 VTM-0 flame retardancy down to 130 microns, making it ideal for insulation applications in electrical, electronic, medical, and automotive industries[reference:12]. Application areas include: electrical & electronics (power supply insulation, connectors, electronic housings), automotive (windows, interiors, EV components), aerospace (aircraft cabin interiors, glazing), building & construction, healthcare, lighting & signage, and secure ID documents[reference:13].
